每年的3月12日是植樹(shù)節，你知道在這天我們要做些什么嗎?
In China, Planting Trees Day is on March 12th. This special day began in 1979. On that day, people can plant many trees. And if we plant trees more, we must also take care of the trees by watering them until they grow upto be strong. In different countries, Planting Trees Days are on different days. Like in India, Planting Trees Day is on July 1st.
在中國，植樹(shù)節是3月12日。這個(gè)特殊的節日是從1979年開(kāi)始的。在那天，人們要種許多的樹(shù)。如果我們種了許多的樹(shù)木，我們就必須照顧好它們，按時(shí)澆水，直到它們茁壯成長(cháng)。不同的國家里，植樹(shù)節的日期也不同。例如印度，植樹(shù)節是7月1日。
Why do the people plant trees? It is very easy. Because they want to protect the environment. There are many people who want to earn the money formonly cutting down trees. So more and more trees are cut by them. But kind people want to protect the environment and make the air clean. So they plant trees as many as they can.

植樹(shù)節的來(lái)歷
3月12日是孫中山先生逝世紀念日。中山先生生前十分重視林業(yè)建設。他任臨時(shí)大總統的中華民國南京政府成立不久，就在1912年5月設立了農林部，下設山林司，主管全國林業(yè)行政事務(wù)。1914年11月頒布了我國近代史上第一部《森林法》，1915年7 月，又規定將每年“清明”定為植樹(shù)節。
1925年3月12日，孫中山先生逝世。1928年，為紀念孫中山逝世三周年，國民政府舉行了植樹(shù)式。以后為了紀念孫中山先生，把他逝世的那天，即3月12日定為植樹(shù)節。

March 12 is the anniversary of Dr. Sun Yat-sen‘s death. Dr. Sun Yat-sen had attached great importance to forestry. He served as provisional president of the Republic of China soon after the establishment of the Nanjing Government, in May 1912 established the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, under the forest Division, director of national forestry administration of. In November 1914 enacted the first of China‘s modern history, a ”Forest Law”, in July 1915, the Government has stipulated that the annual ”Qingming” as Tree-Planting Day.
On March 12, 1925, sun yat-sen‘s death. To mark the third anniversary of sun yat-sen‘s death in 1928, the national government held a tree type. In honor of sun yat-sen, after put on the day of his death, that is on March 12 as Arbor Day.
