我來(lái)自湖南的一個(gè)偏僻農村。是一個(gè)生活簡(jiǎn)單中小城市，本來(lái)父母都憑讀書(shū)跳出農門(mén)，在棉紡行業(yè)兩個(gè)國有大中型企業(yè)工作多年。但國有體制改革不穩定的幾年中，母親因企業(yè)倒閉幾度調換工作，最后才得以在一家也不甚景氣的國企辦理內退，保證一百五十到兩百元退休工資(有時(shí)拖欠不能按時(shí)發(fā)放)。
而父親雖也曾從技術(shù)員干起直至成為一個(gè)眾所稱(chēng)贊的廠(chǎng)內領(lǐng)導，但清廉如他不喝酒不抽煙不打牌我們家也一直積蓄單薄。去年無(wú)力扭轉企業(yè)由來(lái)已久的不良資產(chǎn)與負債，他也只能投入了失業(yè)大軍。此后雖也有外出務(wù)，但收入很不穩定。此時(shí)更加雪上加霜的是，不到半年前，母親生病，醫生建議靜養并且長(cháng)期服用藥物，每月藥費在兩百元以上。父親也只得辭工回家，暫時(shí)照顧，準備等她情況好一些再尋找工作。
