Put on your shirt.
4. Teaching procedure:
Step 1: Revision
1) Draw a thermometer on the blackboard. Invite four students to write the four words on the right place: hot, cold, warm, cool.
The other students spell the words together.
2) Use the computer to show weather. Let the students guess:
How’s the weather today?
(設計意圖:通過(guò)熱身小游戲讓學(xué)生對舊知識進(jìn)行回憶,同時(shí)導入本課的新單詞。)
Step 2: Presentation
Teacher draws pictures on the blackboard. Students learn the new words: windy, rainy, snowy.
(設計意圖:通過(guò)教師的簡(jiǎn)筆畫(huà),學(xué)生的讀、拼、寫(xiě)讓學(xué)生對新單詞有深刻的印象。)
Step 3: Look and say
Look at the video about the dialogue. Students listen and read the dialogue.
Teacher explains: Put on your shirt.
Students act out the dialogue in pairs.
After the show, students make up their own dialogues using the new sentences.
(設計意圖:學(xué)生先練習本課的對話(huà),掌握本課的`知識,在此基礎之上創(chuàng )編新對話(huà),進(jìn)一步理解和掌握本節課的重點(diǎn)句型。)
Step 4: Practice
1) Play a game: students take out their word cards. One student asks, the other guess. (Four students in one group)
Example: How’s the weather today?
2) doing the exercise on the exercise book.
(設計意圖:通過(guò)小游戲再次調動(dòng)學(xué)生學(xué)習的積極性,同時(shí)游戲和練習也進(jìn)一步鞏固了本課的重難點(diǎn)。)
Step 5: Summary
Summarize what we have learnt today.
(設計意圖:通過(guò)小結的這個(gè)環(huán)節再次讓學(xué)生明確本課的重難點(diǎn)。)
5. Homework:
1) Recite the dialogue.
2) Preview the next lesson.
