　　Mike was late for school.He said to his teacher，Mr. Black，“Excuse me for my coming late，sir. I watched a football match in my dream.”

　　"Why did it make you late2”inquired the teacher.

　　“Because neither team could win the game，so it lasted a long time，”replied Mike.

　　特殊的足球賽

　　邁克上學(xué)遲到了。他對布萊克老師說(shuō):“對不起，我遲到了，老師。我夢(mèng)見(jiàn)了一場(chǎng)足球賽。”

　　Visiting A Chicken Farm

　　One day，a teacher took his pupils to a chicken farm to pay a visit. When they came near the incubator，a chick just got out of it’s eggshell.

　　"It's wonderful to see a little thing come out from the eggshell，isn't it's it?”the teacher said.

　　"Yes，sir，"said one of the boys，“But it would be more wonderful if we knew that how a chick gets into its eggshell beforehand.”

　　“是的.，老師，”一個(gè)男學(xué)生說(shuō)，“可是，如果我們知道它是怎樣事先鉆進(jìn)蛋殼里的那就更奇妙了。”

　　A small boy leading a donkey passed by an Army camp. A couple of soldiers wanted to have some fun with the lad(少年，小伙子) . What are you holding onto your brother so tight for, sonny? asked one of them.So he won't join the army, the youngster replied without blinking an eye.

　　小男孩與驢子

　　一個(gè)小男孩牽著(zhù)頭驢子穿過(guò)部隊營(yíng)房。兩名士兵想跟小家伙開(kāi)個(gè)玩笑：小孩，你把你哥哥牽得這么緊干什么?這樣，他就不會(huì )去參軍了。小家伙眼都不眨地回答道。
