　　1 act as 擔任，充當，起……的作用。如：

　　A trained dog can act as a guide to a blind person. 經(jīng)過(guò)訓練的狗可以擔任盲人的向導。

　　表示擔任獨一無(wú)二的職務(wù)，其前通常不用冠詞。如：

　　He acted as manager in my absence. 我不在時(shí)他擔任經(jīng)理。

　　I don’t understand their language; you’ll have to act as

　　2 . act for 代理，代為。如：

　　He was in the very act of starting. 他正準備動(dòng)身。
