Today, our teacher told us a story on the newspaper. She told us that there was a famous university student whose family is very poor and faraway, but he studied very hard and then went to the big city for study. One day, his mother brought some homemade food to him. But he thought his mother will let him lose face, so he pretended he didnt know his mother. I felt ashamed for him and felt ridiculous about the face problem. Its meaningless. People should lay down their face, live the way they are, dont live in others eyes. Just be yourself, you will be happier.
今天，我們老師給我們講了一個(gè)報紙上的故事。她告訴我們，有一個(gè)名牌大學(xué)的學(xué)生的家庭很窮，也很偏遠，但他學(xué)習很努力，之后他就去了大城市學(xué)習。有一天，他的母親給他帶來(lái)一些自己家做的食物。他卻認為他的母親會(huì )讓他丟臉，所以他假裝不認識他的`母親。我為他感到很羞愧，也覺(jué)得這面子問(wèn)題真的很可笑。毫無(wú)意義！人們應該放下面子，活出自我，不要活在別人的眼里。做你自己，你會(huì )更快樂(lè )的。
