九、正確使用各種短橫：em dash (—) 是破折號，en dash (–) 用來(lái)連接年份、時(shí)間，是“到”的意思，hyphen (-) 是連字符。

1. 若寫(xiě)作時(shí)用兩個(gè) hyphen (--) 代替破折號，Word 等文書(shū)處理軟件會(huì )自動(dòng)將其轉為 em dash。鑒于 em dash 輸入不便(Mac 上是 shift + option + -)，這也是英文寫(xiě)作通用的替代法。
2. 破折號(em dash)兩端可各留一半角空格，亦可不留。此乃英美習慣之不同，無(wú)對錯之分。惟請在同一份簡(jiǎn)歷中保持統一。
