Volunteer Teaching in the West
In recent years, college students are encouraged to help students with their study in rural China. They have been doing their utmost to impart knowledge and otIering help to those students who want to learn eagerly.
近些年來(lái)，大學(xué)生被鼓勵去幫助中國農村學(xué)生的.學(xué)習。他們一直竭盡全力在為那些急切渴望求學(xué)的學(xué)生傳授知識和提供幫助。
The volunteer teaching is beneficial in the following two aspects. On the one hand, college volunteers are really devoted themselves to the teaching and they take an active role in developing teaching materials and organizing classes. They help to widen the horizon of students in underdeveloped regions and impart them new knowledge and thoughts. As a result, they are extremely welcomed and respected by the children there. On the other hand, by adapting themselves to the hard living conditions, college students can learn how to deal with difficulties and face challenges as well. What's more, the volunteer experience will be always a valuable treasure in his or her life.

On College Graduates Being Village Officials
There is a great discussion on college graduates being village officials. Some people think it can bring benefits. On the one hand, it can offer employment opportunities for college graduates, which can help to solve the graduates' employment problems. On the other hand, college graduates are full of energy and knowledge and they will try their best to contribute to the village.
對于大學(xué)生當村官的討論很熱烈。有些人認為這能夠帶來(lái)好處。一方面，可以為大學(xué)生提供就業(yè)機會(huì )，這樣就可以幫助解決大學(xué)生就業(yè)問(wèn)題。另一方面，大學(xué)生充滿(mǎn)精力，飽含知識，他們將盡其所能為村莊做貢獻。
However, on the contrary, some people coosider it does more harm than good. To begin with, college graduates lack experience, so they can be confused about what and how to do. Second, huge hope and worry can result in deep pressure, which can prevent them from continuing working on their plans. Last but oot least，they may find it difficult applying knowledge to practice, because it's just book knowledge, often not matching the fact. As a result，they will give up to the difficulties.

There are many advantages for a student to have a part time job. For instance, it helps him to realize that no success comes from nothing. Therefore, part-time jobs cans get the students out of the ivory tower and give them the opportunity to know more of himself and of his personal value in society.
