　　1. stating an opinion 陳述觀(guān)點(diǎn)

　　a. in my opinion… 我的意見(jiàn)是……

　　b. personally I think…… 我個(gè)人認為……

　　c. I believe that…… 我相信……

　　d. I think that…… 我覺(jué)得……

　　e. the point is that…… 我的觀(guān)點(diǎn)是……

　　f. if you ask me…… 如果你問(wèn)我……

　　g. I’d like to say this： …… 我會(huì )這樣說(shuō)……

　　h. I’d like to point out that 我想指出的是……

　　i. speaking for myself 站在自己的立場(chǎng)上說(shuō)……

　　2. challenging an opinion 質(zhì)疑某種觀(guān)點(diǎn)

　　a. that can’t be true 那不可能是真的。

　　3. clarifying a point 闡述觀(guān)點(diǎn)

　　a. what I said was… 我剛才說(shuō)的是……

　　b. what I mean to say was… 我的意思是說(shuō)……

　　d. let me rephrase what I said. 讓我重申剛才所說(shuō)的。

　　4. agreeing with an opinion 同意觀(guān)點(diǎn)

　　a. of course 當然。

　　b. right. 是的。

　　c. exactly. 對。

　　d. that’s true. 是那樣。

　　e. so do I. (neither do I.) 我也這樣認為。(不這樣認為。)

　　f. I agree completely. 我完全贊同。

　　g. I agree with you entirely. 我完全同意你所說(shuō)的。

　　h. you’re absolutely right. 顯然你是對的。

　　i. that’s a good point. 這個(gè)看法不錯。

　　j. I couldn’t agree with you more. 我絕對贊成你。

　　k. that’s just what I think. 我就是那樣認為的。

　　l. I feel the same way. 我也持同樣的想法。

　　5. disagreeing with an opinion 反對意見(jiàn)。

　　a. however， … 然而……

　　b. I’m afraid I disagree. 恐怕我是持反對意見(jiàn)的。

　　c. I don’t think so. 我不那樣認為。

　　d. I don’t think… 我認為……不是那樣的。

　　e. on the other hand… 另一方面……

　　f. on the contrary. 相反的。

　　g. that’s not (entirely) true. 那不(完全)正確。

　　h. I can’t possibly agree with you. 我不可能同意你。

　　6. asking for an opinion 詢(xún)問(wèn)意見(jiàn)

　　a. well…what do you think (about…)? …你覺(jué)得怎么樣?

　　b. do you agree? (don’t you agree?) 你同意嗎?(你是不是同意?)

　　c. what’s your view on the matter? 就這件事你的看法呢?

　　d. how do you see it? 你怎么看它?

　　e. let’s have your opinion. 讓我們聽(tīng)聽(tīng)你的意見(jiàn)!

　　f. do you think that…? 你認為……嗎?

　　7. summarizing a discussion 討論總結

　　a. then we agree. 然后我們取得一致。

　　b. basically we’re in agreement. 我們基本上有共識。

　　c. I think we have agreed to disagree. 我想我們有相同點(diǎn)和不同點(diǎn)。

　　d. I see we have different opinions. 我知道我們意見(jiàn)有分歧

　　Advice on Debating with Others

　　1.Avoid exaggeration.

　　Quote sources and numbers.

　　Do not present opinion as facts.

　　Smile when disagreeing.

　　Stress the positive.

　　Concede minor or trivial points.

　　Avoid bickering, quarreling, and wrangling.

　　Watch your tone of voice.

　　Don't win a debate and lose a friend.

　　Apply the scientific method. (運用科學(xué)方法)

　　Cite relevant personal experience. (合理引用相關(guān)的個(gè)人經(jīng)歷)

　　Be polite. (辯論過(guò)程中有禮待人)

　　Organize your response. (Beginning, middle, end.) (對你辯詞進(jìn)行合理的組織)

　　(三) 辯論賽主持詞 1

　　Good morning/afternoon/evening ladies and gentleman(or students),contestants and adjudicators(裁判).Today we are debating the topic (報一下辯論題目) On the affirmative side we have (報一下正方參賽者的順序),and on the negative side we have (反方參賽者的順序).

　　Both teams have showed great debating ability in today's fierce competition. Let us now await for the adjudicator's scoring. I am sure it is going to be very close.And I think all contestants need to be congratulated for their outstanding efforts.
