摘要；語(yǔ)義Web是對未來(lái)網(wǎng)絡(luò )的1個(gè)設想，在這樣的網(wǎng)絡(luò )中，信息都被賦予了明確的含義，機器能夠自動(dòng)地處理和集成網(wǎng)上可用的信息。Web本體語(yǔ)言OWL是其中的基礎技術(shù)之1，它能提供1種計算機可理解的、無(wú)2義的服務(wù)描述語(yǔ)言，從而為語(yǔ)義Web的實(shí)現奠定了基礎。本文將結合語(yǔ)義Web 目前在描述語(yǔ)言方面的最新進(jìn)展（主要是RDF、DAML＋OIL和OWL的基本原理）及本體論，闡述服務(wù)描述語(yǔ)言的發(fā)展過(guò)程（從早期的WSDL到DAML－S再到今天的OWL－S），然后著(zhù)重綜述了最新研究成果OWL－S及其相關(guān)技術(shù)和應用現狀。

Abstract：Semantic Web is a blueprint of future web,where all information is specfied with explicit meaning,and machines could deal with and integrate the available information of web automatically.One essential technique of Web Semantic web is OWL,which provide the web with a computer-understandable and unambiguous service description language..So along with the latest development of Semantic Web description languge (mainly the basic principle of RDF,DAML+OIL,and OWL) and Ontology,the paper will introduce the development history of web service (evolving from the early WSDL to DAML-S ,then to OWL－S ),and then we will focus on the newly appearing stardard OWL－S and its application status.
