英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)技巧:表達意見(jiàn)的方式

　　生活中，經(jīng)常有人會(huì )詢(xún)問(wèn)我們的意見(jiàn)，或者在某些情況下，即使沒(méi)有被詢(xún)問(wèn)，我們也會(huì )給出自己的意見(jiàn)。有時(shí)我們可以非常直接地表達我們的意見(jiàn)，且不會(huì )讓別人不開(kāi)心。但是，為了不傷害或冒犯到他人，我們通常需要小心翼翼的分享我們的想法。這在商界尤其重要，因為文化差異可能會(huì )對交易產(chǎn)生不利影響。

　　英國人在表達自己的意見(jiàn)時(shí)特別小心(在商界)。他們通常不想冒犯別人，所以開(kāi)始會(huì )使用一些特定的表達來(lái)緩和接下來(lái)的內容。我的顧客中有很多人都說(shuō)過(guò)英國人在和同事及顧客處理問(wèn)題時(shí)都非常地禮貌和體貼。所以，英國人做生意的方式通常都是令人欽佩的。

　　1. I think

　　This is the most common and general way of giving an opinion. You can use it both informally and formally: I think if you offer a consistently good service to your clients, they will keep coming back to you.

　　這是最常用、最普遍的表達意見(jiàn)的方式，正式和非正式情況下都可以使用：我認為如果你給客戶(hù)提供始終如一的優(yōu)質(zhì)服務(wù)，他們會(huì )一直選擇你們的服務(wù)。

　　2.I reckon

　　This is a more informal way of giving your opinion: I reckon it will be much faster to get to London by train.

　　一種更加非正式的表達意見(jiàn)的方式：我認為坐火車(chē)去倫敦會(huì )更快。

　　3. In my opinion (4) In my view

　　These expressions are more formal and are often used when talking about important issues：

　　In my view, they made a huge mistake in not selling the company when they had the chance.

　　In my opinion, the Bank of England should not raise interest rates this year.

　　這兩個(gè)表達更加正式，并且通常在談?wù)撝匾獑?wèn)題時(shí)使用：

　　在我看來(lái)，當他們有機會(huì )賣(mài)掉公司時(shí)卻不賣(mài)是個(gè)重大的錯誤。

　　4. It seems to me (6) All things considered

　　When you’ve thought about a situation carefully you could use either of these two expressions：

　　It seems to me that they are spending more money than they need to to attract new talent into the company.

　　All things considered, I think we made a wise choice in recruiting James.

　　當你已經(jīng)仔細考慮過(guò)一種情形時(shí)，你可以使用兩種表達中任意一種：

　　在我看來(lái)，在為公司引進(jìn)新人才時(shí)，他們的花費比實(shí)際需求多很多。

　　總的來(lái)看，我認為招聘詹姆斯是一個(gè)明智的選擇。

　　5. If you ask me

　　This is used when your opinion is critical. Sometimes, people say this even when their opinion hasn’t been asked for! – “If you ask me,…..” “But I didn’t ask you….!”

　　If you ask me, she has spoilt her children far too much.

　　當你的意見(jiàn)帶有批評性質(zhì)的時(shí)候使用這種表達。有時(shí)，人們甚至會(huì )在沒(méi)有被詢(xún)問(wèn)意見(jiàn)的時(shí)候使用這個(gè)短語(yǔ)!-“依我看…”“但是我沒(méi)有問(wèn)你…”!

　　依我看，她太過(guò)溺愛(ài)她的孩子了。

　　6. To be honest (9) To tell you the truth (10) To be frank：

　　All three expressions are a way of giving your opinion when you know that people may not like what you have to say

　　To tell you the truth, your father was right when he said that you undersold the company.

　　To be honest, I preferred it when you were blonde.

　　To be frank, I thought her acting was simply terrible.

　　知道別人可能不喜歡你要說(shuō)的話(huà)時(shí)，可以用這三種表達來(lái)給出你的意見(jiàn)：

　　老實(shí)告訴你，你父親對你低價(jià)拋售公司的判斷是對的。

　　老實(shí)說(shuō)，我更喜歡你金發(fā)的樣子。

　　坦白地說(shuō)，我覺(jué)得他的表演很糟糕。

　　7. Frankly speaking

　　You would use this expression to give your opinion in a more familiar and forthright way.

　　Frankly speaking, I don’t know what she sees in him.

　　這是一種更親近和直率的表達意見(jiàn)的方式：

　　坦白地說(shuō)，我不知道她看上他哪一點(diǎn)。

　　12. Personally

　　This is used to emphasize that you are giving your own opinion:

　　Personally, I think the CEO should apologize for his appalling behaviour at the shareholders’ meeting.

　　這個(gè)短語(yǔ)通常用來(lái)強調你說(shuō)的只是個(gè)人意見(jiàn):

　　就我而言，我認為總裁應該為他在董事會(huì )的惡劣行為道歉。

　　8. To my mind (14) As far as I’m concerned

　　When you realise that other people may not agree with you you would use either of these expressions:

　　To my mind, private education is better than state education.

　　As far as I’m concerned, tennis is a much more interesting sport than football.

　　當你意識到其他人可能不同意你的觀(guān)點(diǎn)時(shí)，可以使用這兩種表達中的任意一種：

　　依我看，私立教育比公立教育好。

　　就我而言，網(wǎng)球比足球有意思多了。
