論文答辯英文開(kāi)場(chǎng)白

　　畢業(yè)論文完成之后都需要參加統一的畢業(yè)論文答辯，答辯前需要學(xué)生進(jìn)行開(kāi)場(chǎng)白，也就是對個(gè)人的姓名、論文題目、導師、以及論文的創(chuàng )作背景等做一個(gè)簡(jiǎn)單的概括。

　　英語(yǔ)畢業(yè)論文答辯開(kāi)場(chǎng)白范例：

　　Good morning， Distinguished professors and teachers， ladies and gentlemen， thank you for attending the oral defense. (或Welcome to attend the oral defense.) ： I am XX.

　　First and foremost， I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my supervisor， professorXX， for his intellectual guidance， invaluable instructions and comments on my thesis.

　　It is with his valuable assistance that I have finally accomplished this thesis. My topic is On the tragedy figures at historical turning points(Comparison of KongYiji and Rip Van )The whole thesis consists of 6 parts.

　　The first part will give a brief introduction of the negative， evasive and conservative attitudes of Kong and Rip as well as the topic’s significance in the real society.

　　And the second part is going to analyze the figures’ background to show the historical necessity of the tragedies.

　　In the third part， the tragic heroes’ failing in the character according to their living environment will be further discussed and the fourth part is to talk about their different tendency of dispositions and behaviors in the society.

　　Then the author will dig into the root causes of the tragedies in the fifth part， and sum up the whole paper to reveal the ideological weak points of the two countries separately in the last part. Thank you!

　　主要陳述內容：

　　(1)自己選擇這個(gè)題目的原因;

　　(2)設計和實(shí)施的簡(jiǎn)單過(guò)程(如，商務(wù)方向：采用什么方法來(lái)搜集信息、資料等);search the information from library and then internet

　　(3)自己論文的主要內容(不要念論文，最好用4、5句話(huà)簡(jiǎn)單介紹論文內容，如，商務(wù)方向：做了哪些調查，得出什么結論，計劃如何實(shí)施項目);

　　(4)仍然存在的問(wèn)題(如，商務(wù)：在實(shí)施項目中可能會(huì )遇到的風(fēng)險以及如何解決);the aspect which I have quoted may be not perfect and have many deficiencies

　　最好準備相關(guān)文字并熟記(答辯時(shí)要脫稿陳述，但是可以看PPT文件)。

　　語(yǔ)言最好簡(jiǎn)單清楚。

　　不要直接用論文中內容，應該用解釋性的句式，如：When I was designing the lessons, I found that….

　　回答老師問(wèn)題(老師用英語(yǔ)提問(wèn)，學(xué)生用英語(yǔ)回答)：

　　1、大約有4-6個(gè)問(wèn)題，時(shí)間將持續10-15分鐘。

　　2、首先要聽(tīng)清楚問(wèn)題，如果沒(méi)有聽(tīng)清，可以要求老師重復問(wèn)題(可以說(shuō)pardon之類(lèi)的話(huà))。

　　3、回答時(shí)首先要態(tài)度好，要切題，而且不要保持沉默，不會(huì )時(shí)可以表示抱歉。

　　常見(jiàn)問(wèn)題：

　　(1)Will you please give us a self-introduction? 有些學(xué)生可能由于緊張沒(méi)聽(tīng)清問(wèn)題便開(kāi)始背誦論文的內容，結果造成答非所問(wèn)。

　　(2)Give us a presentation of your thesis. 有些學(xué)生一聽(tīng)到thesis便詳細而又不理解地背誦其論文內容, 在被打斷之后便不知該說(shuō)什么。其實(shí), 考官只是想知道你對論文的總體了解, 讓你簡(jiǎn)單闡明自己論文的內容與觀(guān)點(diǎn)。

　　(3)Why do you choose such a theme?  What do you want the reader get from your thesis? 對于這個(gè)問(wèn)題，你可以談?wù)勀愕南埠�，你想要讀者從中得到什么。

　　(4)What is the uniqueness of your point of view? 對于這個(gè)問(wèn)題，你可以談?wù)勀愕挠^(guān)點(diǎn)與他人不同之處及原因。這就要求你有相關(guān)知識。

　　之后便是針對你的論文的問(wèn)題了。

　　(5)關(guān)于選題：如Why did you choose this topic for your paper?或Why were you interested in this project?

　　(6)關(guān)于具體部分：

　　商務(wù)方向：SWOT，COSTING，FLOWCHART，RISK，STAKEHOLDER，如Do you think is this a necessary activity for the project?

　　(7)關(guān)于背景知識及理論知識：如What does SWOT stand for?(商務(wù))

　　(8)關(guān)于論文存在的問(wèn)題：如In the last sentence on page … there are some grammatical errors.
