What the Boss' Body Language Says
你老板的肢體語(yǔ)言在說(shuō)什么？
Most employees pay attention to what the boss says, while the savvy employee also pays attention to how it is being said. Bosses can be good at using -- not just reading -- body language, which may be one of the reasons they got to be boss in the first place.
很多員工都會(huì )注意老板說(shuō)的話(huà)，但是精明的員工會(huì )注意老板說(shuō)話(huà)的方式。老板可能不僅善于解讀身體語(yǔ)言，也同樣善于利用身體語(yǔ)言，這也可能是他們當初成為老板的原因之一。
Often the body changes quickly if the boss likes or does not like what he saw or heard, or if she is uncomfortable in what she is saying to you. So watch closely -- it happens in a nanosecond!

Here are some ways to help interpret the boss' body language:

Body Stance and Posture

Positive:

1） Physically on the same level (sitting or standing).

2） Directly faces you.

3） Comes into your office rather than just standing at the door.

4） In a group, sits or stands close to you.

Negative:

1）Does not face you directly.

2）Stands and looks down on you. (Ever have a boss who never sits?)
站著(zhù)俯視你（是否曾經(jīng)有過(guò)從來(lái)不坐著(zhù)的上司？）
3）Places both hands on his hips to create a wingspan. (Even the big guys and gals who don't need more "space" may do this.)
把雙手放在臀部來(lái)擴大空間（盡管那些可能并不需要更大空間的大個(gè)兒會(huì )這樣做）
5） In groups, avoids you, sits with others, or does not introduce you.
在一群人中，避開(kāi)你，和其他坐在一起，或不介紹你。
Eyes, Head, and Face
眼睛，頭和臉
Positive:
良好的
1） Looks you directly in the eye.
看著(zhù)你的時(shí)候直視你的眼睛
2） Muscles around the eye are relaxed.

3） Facial muscles are relaxed. Lips are their normal size.
面部肌肉是放松的。嘴唇張開(kāi)也是正常大小。
4） Pleasant face and friendly smile.
快樂(lè )的笑臉和友善的笑容�！�
Negative:
不好的：
1） Rapid eye movement, does not look at you; has a cold, glaring, staring, or glazed-over look.
眼睛不停的移動(dòng)，不直視你，即使看你也是冷冷的盯著(zhù)你或帶著(zhù)有色眼鏡看你。
2） Blinks more than normal.
眨眼睛的次數比平常多。
3） Raises one eyebrow as if in disbelief or doubt.
如果是對你不相信或懷疑的時(shí)候會(huì )挑眉。
4） Facial muscles are tight; lips thin out.
面部肌肉緊繃，嘴唇張開(kāi)過(guò)小。
5） Jaw muscles and clenched, and temple or neck veins throb.
下巴肌肉緊繃著(zhù)，太陽(yáng)穴或脖子上青筋突出。
6） Smile is stiff and forced.
微笑是僵硬的，而且是假笑。
Hands, Arms, and Gestures
手，胳膊和手勢
Positive:
良好的
1） Hands are in view, opened, calm.
手在可視范圍之內，平靜的張開(kāi)著(zhù)。
2） Arms are open (but may be crossed in a comfortable position).
手臂張開(kāi)（或許以一種讓人舒服的姿勢交叉著(zhù)）
Negative:
不好的
1） Hands are not in sight -- in pockets, or under the table or desk.
雙手不在可視范圍之內，插在口袋里或放在桌子或椅子下面
2） Hands (in sight) are closed or in a fist; fingers tightly clasped.
雙手交叉或握著(zhù)拳頭，手指緊握著(zhù)。
3） Arms are tightly crossed (defensive or protective position).
緊抱雙臂（防御或保護的姿勢）
4） Points or wags his or her finger aggressively.
帶有攻擊性的揮動(dòng)手指或指著(zhù)你。
5） Drums his or her fingers or fidgets nervously.
不停地敲手指或坐立不安
Remember, sometimes body language is not about you. Bosses have their own issues and you might just be in the line of fire. Observe many situations and look for consistency for the full story.
記住，有時(shí)候身體語(yǔ)言并不是針對你的。老板們都有自己的事情，而你可能正好撞到了槍口上。多觀(guān)察觀(guān)察不同的情況，并找到其中的關(guān)聯(lián)性。
