保羅與米利安的愛(ài)情悲劇分析

Abstract
Sons and lovers, which is the landmark of Lawrence’s creations, is an autobiographical psychoanalytic novel. Applying the realistic skill, Lawrence describes the growth of a boy born in middle England, and reveals the love tragedy of the miner’s son. The rich and profound connotation of the love tragedy between Paul and Miriam is the most moving part and occupies an important position in the novel. The general perspective toward the main cause of the tragedy contains two parts: first is the disturbance of the Oedipus complex; then, the nature defects of the two, the disparity between their values of love and religion are also the killer of their love. Paul peruses the unity of body and soul; Miriam’s love is only spiritual but not physical. And all of these are the products of the malformed society and family.

摘要
《兒子與情人》是勞倫斯創(chuàng )作中1座里程碑式的作品，是1部自傳式精神分析小說(shuō)。勞倫斯運用寫(xiě)實(shí)手法，描寫(xiě)了出生在英格蘭中部的1個(gè)男孩的成長(cháng)過(guò)程，揭示了這個(gè)礦工兒子愛(ài)情的悲劇，有著(zhù)豐富而深刻的內涵。其中保羅與米麗安的愛(ài)情悲劇最能打動(dòng)人心，在小說(shuō)中的地位舉足輕重。對該小說(shuō)的評論普遍認為造成保羅愛(ài)情悲劇的最主要原因是由于保羅的戀母情結的干擾。其實(shí)不然，筆者認為保羅的戀母情結固然是造成這1愛(ài)情悲劇的重要原因,但是保羅與米麗安的性格缺陷以及愛(ài)情觀(guān)，宗教觀(guān)的差異也不容忽視。保羅追求的是靈與肉的統1，然而米麗安過(guò)分專(zhuān)注于精神生活。保羅和米麗安的人格都是分裂的，是畸形社會(huì )、畸形家庭的必然產(chǎn)物。社會(huì )的工業(yè)化帶來(lái)了經(jīng)濟的騰飛,卻給人類(lèi)文明及人的精神世界帶來(lái)了災難性的影響。小說(shuō)男女主人公的愛(ài)情悲劇有著(zhù)深刻的社會(huì )根源。
